Navigating the Landscape of Endless Distractions
In the intricate maze of the human mind, the subconscious sits, weaving together our thoughts, memories and emotions, while the conscious state is actively engaged in decision-making and awareness, the subconscious operates beneath the surface, influencing actions and beliefs in profound ways. It is in this realm that the concept of the “Unguarded Subconscious” emerges-a state where the mind is open to influence, change and manipulation. Whereas a subconscious that is cultivated, protected and used independently, could have the potential of a hydron collider, imagine what force mass cultivation of collective consciousnesses has. For those of us that grow fruits in our subconscious the weight of corporate subconscious farming is ever present.
The Vulnerability of the Subconscious
The subconscious mind is most susceptible to external influences when we are in a state of relaxation, distraction or sleep. These moments of vulnerability allow ideas, suggestions and even false memories to slip past the defences of the conscious mind and take root. A phenomenon often harnessed in practices such as hypnotherapy, where the goal is to access the subconscious to address deep-seated issues or instil positive changes.
The same principal can be exploited in less benevolent to downright malevolent ways. For instance, subliminal messaging and certain forms of media consumption can subtly alter our perceptions and behaviours without our conscious awareness. A key feature to this influence relies on the sentinel’s surrounding the subconscious taking leave of duty, leaving it to be fertile ground for suggestion.
The Age of Endless Distractions
In this timeline we find ourselves in a fast-paced, technology driven world with an abundance of stimuli, like mythological Sirens, calling out for our attention. Notifying us of their presence with a relentless choir of ‘dings, bells and vibrations’.
How different a mind map must look from a time in which full focus could be placed on a task compared to the current mind map of today, which is being permanently bruised and infiltrated by the Sirens call.
The implications of this, the magik underlying, is profound. A quick observation of many societies today in this timeline shows the palpable gap in sovereignty and self-determination in the haves and have nots. Could this be because a mere handful of us have become so magnificent compared to the many that struggle to live free and nourished lives? I think not! The few have just cultivated ways to reach into the subconscious on mass.
Attention spans are taken up with a multitude of distractions, made ever more enticing by the endless array of choices, our minds are in a state of partial focus. While our minds eye develops a schism attempting to maintain some focus on the worlds stage (according to the media portraying it). The more distracted we become the more our sentinel’s sleep.
Over time these influences can shape beliefs, attitudes and even our memories, worse still we may not even realise it is happening or happened.
Navigating the Landscape

What does this mean for us, while navigating the landscape of endless distractions? Awareness is key to our individual power. By observing the moments when our subconscious is most vulnerable, we can take proactive measures to rally our subconscious sentinels’ creating boundaries that our subconscious can flourish in self-determination, without incoming infiltration of distractions and other’s ideals. We could implement our own media ‘mediums’ diet plan. When we are talking about the redlight district of desires for the mind, this is not always so easy. It takes us to ask ourselves; which distractions are titillating our desires and why? And, does it fulfil me and help me grow or does it leave me wanting more of the same. This could give us an idea of where the weaknesses in our boundaries are and a will power to arm the right sentinel for the role of security.
Sometimes the most powerful force in the field with a galloping horse is stillness, it is a brave task to stay still in the face of such speed. But when it works it is magnificent, the same beast with all its bluster drops its pace to meet your stillness with intrigue. Today I often find my mind scape catapulted into a field, filled with a herd of galloping horses, attempting to raise my awareness and alarm and I find myself ever more grateful for the teachings I had as a child to find stillness. I can see how much harder it must be for those without similar foundational teachings to not join any incoming herd (distraction). So, finding intent to create moments of stillness, until stillness becomes an automatic response to excess unnecessary distractions is another key to sovereignty.
Additionally, we require our sentinel’s to be developed with a healthy scepticism towards the endless flow of information we encounter, foragers for the roots of information, sifting for diverse perspectives.
Conclusion
The unguarded subconscious like most things is a double-edged sword, offering both the potential for positive change and spiritual growth as well as the risk of unintended consent to outside influences. It all comes back to us and our determination. As we come out of the watery distorted depths that Pieces brought us, do we allow ourselves to be submerged into an artificial extension of it? Or do we enter Aquarius determined to use the tools we have at hand to garner more self-awareness rather meet the demands of whom ever can run the most expensive ad campaign? For a long time, markets have been flooded with things that ‘make life easier, tastier or more desirable’ and many have followed the piper of popularity only to find, flood leaves consequences in its wake, largely made possible by the manipulation of subconscious fields.
So, is it not time to make time to go off grid regularly, without even leaving your home, distraction often dresses up in a veil of importance, pulling on strings of fear, lust, lack superiority and the like. Can we upgrade ourselves like we do our technology to meet the demands of today? Of course we can, the last key to this dialogue presents itself as will power!
